We intend to create a public event with a minimum impact on the environment:
FOODS:
- Use of compostable utensils for food-tastings
- Use of compostable utensils at the on-site restaurant
- Composting on-site
CLOTH TABLECLOTHS USED IN EXHIBITOR TABLES:
- Use of fabric tablecloths on exhibitors’s tables
WASTE MANAGEMENT:
- On-site recycling for visitors and exhibitors
- Paper and cardboard recycling
- Plastics, glass and metal recycling
- Cloth tablecoths used in exhibitor tables
- Recycled locally made bags sold on-site
- Recyclable plastic bags
COMMUNICATIONS:
- All information documents are communicated via internet
- Posters, flyers, placemats and programmes all printed on 100% post-consumption, chlorine-free made in Québec paper
TRANSPORTATION:
- Public transportation access to both events
- All exhibitors, speakers and volunteers are encouraged to use public transportation
